The object of reconstruction is a garage building located at the address: St. Petersburg, Vasileostrovsky district, Kozhevennaya line, 29, building 4, letter G1. The year of commissioning is 1917. The year of construction is not precisely established, in the interval 1914-1917, since the building is not on the map dated 1913.
The building is located on the site that housed the famous Brusnitsyn Tannery, founded in 1847 by the merchant of the first guild, Nikolai Mokeevich Brusnitsyn. The historical area was called Chekushi (Area southwest of Bolshoy Prospect Vasilyevsky Island. In the 18th century there were flour warehouses that were flooded during floods.
